Cement Laborer
Description
This is a full time, year-round position. This position assists in unloading railcars, loading trucks at bulk Portland cement facility.
Responsibilities
- Unloading railcars. Loading trucks. Operate equipment.
- Basic maintenance. Assist with the daily clean-up.
- Be willing to work at various locations doing a wide variety of tasks at Fairbanks Block & Building Materials and Fairbanks Precast & Rebar.
- Other duties as directed by the Operations Manager and Shop/ Yard Foremen.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must pass drug and alcohol screening prior to employment and will be subject to random drug tests.
- Must adhere to all safety requirements, procedures and company policies.
- Must be dependable and hardworking with a positive team attitude.
- Must have the physical fitness strength to lift 70 pounds and stamina to work on feet for prolonged periods and agility for repetitive work.
